Sustainability in every detail

It started with an idea in a living room. We were thinking about how we could improve the work environment for those who work from home, without compromising on design, function, or our responsibility to the planet. We quickly realized that what we created would not only affect people’s everyday working lives, but also leave a mark on a bigger whole. That insight has stayed with us ever since.

Choosing consciously, from start to finish

We knew early on that sustainability could not be an add-on - it had to be part of the core idea itself. That is why we designed our products with simple principles: they should last a long time, be easy to use, and be made close to home, with as little environmental impact as possible. That is how the collaboration with Formakök in Oskarshamn came about, where each Desk Riser is made from FSC-certified wood from responsible forestry. We have chosen to leave out the complexity often used in the manufacturing of "ordinary" electric desks. These are often made of several materials - plastic, metal, electronics - and produced in factories far away, where components are shipped between countries. It is a heavy journey for both the product and the planet. We wanted to create something completely different.

Thought through in every detail

With care for both people and the environment, we have worked with few, but carefully chosen materials. Our Desk Risers are made of wood from sustainable sources, and they contain only a few metal components. They are designed so that they can be easily disassembled, making reuse possible. We believe that products can carry care—not only in how they are used, but in how they are made, how they age, and how they can one day be given new life.

Small choices that make a big difference

By choosing local manufacturers, we reduce our transport distances, support Swedish companies, and can maintain close contact with the entire production chain. It is not always the easiest path — but it is the right one for us. We believe that sustainability is not about perfection, but about taking small steps in the right direction. Steps that, together, make a difference.

An ongoing trip

We do not see sustainability as something we can tick off. It is an ongoing process in which we constantly seek new ways to improve. We review our processes, minimize waste, and look for smarter solutions – not just for ourselves, but for our customers and future generations. Our goal is for every product we ship to feel like a choice to be proud of.
